I hope one day the problem will be fixed, it should never be left hanging around
While more manufacturers and Governments talk about job creation and profits each day
Our planet is being destroyed in a terrible way
It is sad that some folks simply use and discard
While others only get to have an existence that is hard
Not knowing what to do with all the waste they see
When the rest of the world could not care less about their misery
Environmental protection awareness can be taught in many new ways
And we can make plans to help more people to live to see better days
Let us think about the life the next generation will have if we don’t put an end to this plight
We can start by telling the children how to treat the environment right
A bright future is what they will work towards having
They will get more people to understand that the planet is beautiful and it is worth saving
