The Plastic Epidemic and the Solution

There are people who remember when glass bottles were used and returned for a price and they say the same could be done with bottles made from plastic

So is it that some industries don’t want us to have a future that is fantastic ?

When there are great solutions found in the way we lived before

Do you know why we can’t revive our old ways and use them some more?

People who love nature have become broken hearted and blue

But the profit makers decided that they won’t be changing what they do

The plastic epidemic can create a lot of new jobs for people in many places

If only the people who make huge profits would decide to put more smiles on faces

The plastic pollution problem would not be an epidemic if we could all decide to change our ways

We should never allow our children to wonder if they will ever live to see better days

When the rich begin caring about the lives of the poor

We will all have a plan to make the earth beautiful and our future will be secure

It is possible that one day there will be more people who will decide to send greed away

When this happens every creature on earth will have a chance to live in a much better way

Let us be the voice for the voiceless creatures living under the sea, they get their home polluted by people who don’t care

People who don’t even want to think about the many eco-friendly tips they could use so they could eventually have clean water and air

When consumers decide to pay more attention to recycling, reducing and reusing and industries do their part

The plastic pollution problem will eventually be reduced, it is time for us to make a start

Now that microplastic and Nano plastic has become a thing that could ruin our health

We should be saying we need to stop supporting those who only care about their wealth

How long will we continue to allow plastic to pollute our oceans and our seas more and more

How much longer can we say it is not important for the poor to have a future that is secure

They are the ones who are trying to do something about the problems that are created by others

And they are not seen as humans when they should be treated like sisters and brothers

If we could build environmental protection awareness in a new and better way

the manufacturers and the consumers would want to help others to see a brighter day

So let us tell the children how the plastic pollution problem can be solved

It will disappear when we all decide to get involved

Children will decide to do things in a new way

And adults will be happy when they have great things to say

Show them that you want them to live in a healthy way

Tell them that health is the only thing that truly matters in the end

We can get together and fix the plastic pollution problem when we become friends

At least here in Chile recycling has become a citizen’s crusade. Many warn insisting that it is a priority need to carry it out so as not to cause so much damage to the environment. Your article is very interesting and educational. Greetings.

Greeting to you too, I am so glad you have people around who want to protect nature in some places the leader don’t care and the people are just like their leaders. In my country Jamaica we depend on tourism a lot and our Government only banned plastic shopping bags recently.
