Since it is a known fact that some countries contributes more to the climate crisis than others; shouldn’t we be doing more with that fact?
Shouldn’t there be a Governing body who could get the countries who created the crisis to change the way they act?
I’ve heard that the Paris agreements meant nothing to the world and not enough was done
If there are countries that are not willing to stop contributing to the climate crisis, it will just keep going on
Destroying lives and livelihood everyday as we march towards extinction
We keep on creating more things to use and dump and get excited about each new invention
As if we don’t realise that protecting our only home is more important than having stuff
And we should never be doing anything to cause some people to say life is tough
It would be good if the rich countries who cause the most damage to the planet would do more for the poorer ones
I don’t know why the leaders of these industrial nations won’t make better decisions
If only there were organizations who would get them to pay for the damage they are doing
They would stop polluting the environment and ensure that the economies of the poor countries are growing
If only more caring and sharing could take place in the world, it is clear that this crisis would disappear
So let us begin telling our children why they should start making plans to live in a new way as they pay attention to environmental care
Having massive conferences and not changing they way we act won’t stop Global warming
These huge countries could change what they are doing and plan for a better future, the way they pollute the environment is alarming
Could it be that the need to be the world’s super power has caused this extreme need for massive economic growth at this time?
When it is quite clear that it is best for us to have a healthy environment even if we don’t have a dime
The need for wealth seems to be very damaging to our health now that the earth is getting too hot
The farmers are running out of water to produce crops so when we want healthy food we won’t find a lot
It is time for us to say climate change demands a change in the way we consume
We just can’t afford to increase global warming and then simply assume
That the earth will continue to provide all its bounty for us each day
As we continue to pollute the air, land and sea in the same old way
If we all could decide to build environmental protection awareness in a brand new way
Our children could learn how to treat the environment in a great way and look forward to a brighter day
Let us decide that we won’t allow this climate change crisis to stick around forever
Since it could be possible for us to use climate solutions and look forward to the day when it is over
