Waste and landfills not our favorite topic
The waste grows more because of the use of single-use-plastic
It is good to see that modern technology is helping to turn waste into energy
A lot more jobs are created and there was a development of a great new strategy
Using less fossil fuels can reduce our green house gas emissions over time
And after a while our energy bills might go down, for one month we might pay a dime
Changing the way waste is managed can truly transform our lives
When bills are reduced we will find new ways to strive
When people understand how environmental protection can help them to save money
I believe they will want to protect the planet and have lives that are bright and sunny
So much can be done with the cash we spend on electricity bills
Sometimes we can’t get to save, so we can go out and experience the thrills
But with the number of waste to energy facilities increasing
There is hope that electricity bills will be decreasing
A clean green future is on the horizon now
Let’s hope that more ideas like this will be used somehow
Tell the children how they can have a future that is wonderful
When they do all they can to keep the earth beautiful
Now they can learn about going green
