So many toxins are released in the air when waste is burned
And manufacturers only produce more and think about what they will earn
Manufacturing, advertising and building up waste in landfills
Mother Nature is suffering, and there are many who are unable to feel a thrill
China no longer wants to be the world garbage dump anymore
They did a lot of recycling for some countries before
However, they don’t want to be seen as a garbage dump now
Those other countries will need to do their own recycling somehow
We shouldn’t be thinking about polluting the air as we burn waste each day
When we can do more recycling and send the pollution problem away
Our health is our true wealth and it is time for us to change what we are doing
And it is time for children to learn about the need for environmental care while they are growing
We can’t afford to allow them to learn about all the bad habits they saw
As there are many persons who didn’t think about environmental care, they even broke the law
They littered streets and destroyed forests more and more each day
And Recycling can send many of our problems away
We can cut down less trees and use less oil to make plastic
We can start working towards having a future that is fantastic
Adults can easily support a plan that will help the children to learn
As more manufacturers begin looking for more sustainable ways to earn
Let us protect our world by recycling more
We can support a plan that will make our future secure
