Globalization has caused poverty to increase and only the businesses that belongs to the rich now thrive
It is time for more of us to say we are going in the wrong direction
Many of the plans that are made by the rich should be getting a lot more inspection
Now that we know that we need to protect the environment in order to maintain our health
And we can change the way we treat the environment when we stop catering to those who only care about wealth
We have got to change the way we think about living each day
Consumerism is causing us to live in an unsustainable way
Let us think before we act more often, it is not good to just go with the flow
Climate change is causing a lot of heartache and sorrow
While there are a few people who want to earn even more
As they keep on making life too difficult for the poor
Nature will provide all we need to sustain life if we stop using the chemicals that damages the soil
Causing farmers to earn less, even when there is no end to their toil
And now the food is not as nutritious as it was before
We see more cancers and diabetes, adding more pressure on the poor
Let us tell the children about the lifestyle they should avoid when they are older
We don’t want them to continue thinking about buying more stuff while their hearts are getting colder
Consumerism and poverty are working together in a strange way
We should begin showing that we want a better future today
You can support the ecofriendly project for the children in many ways
Don’t allow another child to think the environment doesn’t need to be treated better one day
