In the good old days when milk bottles were washed and used again there was less pollution
I wish we could see that the past can offer many solutions
Single use Plastic caused us to live in new ways
It took a lot of our problems away
But we have not managed waste in the way we should
The problems we have now with microplastic is not good
Reusing plastic can help to fix the problem we have with plastic pollution
When we reuse plastic we are making a great contribution
And you never know when you will be finding a new way to earn
So start reusing plastic if you didn’t start before
You will be doing something that will help you to have a future that is secure
Now it is easy for you to encourage children to reuse plastic in creative ways
While you support the ecofriendly children’s project that is here, and you shouldn’t delay
Protecting the environment is more important in these times
We can all start doing our part and we will reduce pollution

Back in the day, we didn’t waste anything, and we often reused mayo jars as glasses, food containers which we cleaned and used to pack lunches for school and work, etc!
People not only seem to have forgotten how to do that, but even how to cook, clean and not waste the very food they buy!
Why buy it at the store if it’s going to sit and go bad, and then into the trash?
You are so right Shira, why buy food containers and zip lock bags after you throw away the empty jars when the mayo is done, we need a new mind set….
