Repurposing is Good for the Environment and the People Who Have Changed Lives

Using old things in a new way

This is how some folks live in a better way

When old buses become homes,

Plastic containers and clothes

are also repurposed people can forget their woes

If more repurposing was being done all along maybe we would see less homeless people on the streets

And so many people would not simply accept that they need to live on welfare and think of defeat

There are so many things that we can use in a new way

We don’t need to just throw them away so we can acquire new things and pay

All we will need is a little more creativity

And we could start looking at the things that we can adjust

So we can change not just our lives, but the lives of those around us

Now that a good home can be made out of an old bus

We see that a lot can be done when me becomes us

There is a lot more we can do when the our minds get together and find solutions

And now it is time for us to reduce waste and pollution

Repurposing and reusing has not gotten much attention

As we only see a lot of advertisements and go after new inventions
