Microplastic Becomes a Bigger Problem Each Day It is time for Everyone to treat the Environment in a Better Way

The Shrimp, the Lobsters, the fish and the other marine creatures have Microplastic in them

There is now nano plastic that exists as well, and they add to the problem

They get into the air we breath and the water we drink

It is time for everyone on the planet to stop and think

Since it is known that plastic is toxic

We hope the manufacturers will be willing to do something drastic

A better waste management system should be developed for every country on earth

And it is time for the wealthy producers of oil and plastic to think about what our health is worth

Now that it is clear that plastic is causing so much damage almost everywhere

It is time for everyone to wake up and talk about environmental care

Nano plastic is bad for our health

Who will say this to the people who only care about wealth

Who will say it is time for us to stop buying the things that will damage both us and the planet

Who will say we should not be working towards having poor health and regret

When more of us decide to go green and tell the children what this means

We will eventually have an environment that is clean

If we won’t refuse to buy everything we see on shelves

We will never be able to help ourselves

But if we should go green and use great ecofriendly tips each day

We will be raising children who will live in a much better way

They will be able to start making plans to remove some of the problems we are seeing now

If we don’t help them to be aware they won’t think of solutions, they won’t even wonder how

They won’t say how did we end up with a toxic environment like this today

And how can we change what is happening so we can live in a better way

When children know about the problems we are now having they can start thinking about solutions

They will be in a position to make valuable contributions

As they work towards making their future bright

They will be willing to treat the environment right

Microplastic and nano plastic is toxic and it is a problem we created over the years

And now it is time for us to spread the word about the need for environmental care

There is an ecofriendly project here that makes spreading the word easy to do

There are eco warriors out there picketing on the streets and you can you can do your part too

    1. yes, the waste management system can be improved so that waste is recycled and burned in a different way and the Government need to make changes so the plastic won’t get into the oceans and rivers where it breaks down…….. Thanks for reading my post

  1. Great awareness post – and that video!! I got lost down a rabbit hole reading the comments on YouTube. I’ve never intentionally put plastic in my own vegie garden, but often find small pieces when turning the soil over! I have collected some to photograph for a future post … one day. As well as consumer single use plastics, other things need to be addressed like pallet wrapping, hay bailing twine and almost every single item that is imported (mostly from China) is wrapped and/or packaged in plastic for transport. We also should be careful “recycling” plastic. For example, we’re made to feel good about buying polar-fleece recycled from PET bottles (guilty myself until I thought about it) – it’s still plastic now in microfibre form that breaks down will likely eventually end up in the environment.

      1. I understand the concept but don’t know much detail. I guess the big question is – can it be done without producing harmful emissions and no toxic left over waste?
Another thing being successfully trialled is green concrete, again, I don’t know much detail but it looks very promising and is stronger than existing construction concrete, making it possible to lock plastic into building construction. There may be long term consequences perhaps though … as I think of asbestos.

      2. Great ideas, but plastic could be just as asbestos, they will need to test it. Using plastic waste to make roads was another good idea I wish more leaders would invest in these ideas. Just thinking
