Some of the kids and teenagers are determined to see a change in the way the earth is treated

Will the big corporations cause them to say they have been defeated?

Or will they stop polluting the rivers and the streams

So that they can live a long and healthy life and fulfill their dreams

Climate change is affecting the earth in many ways

We are having more drought and flooding these days

Now that more of the youth are aware

And they are determined to spread the word about the importance of environmental care

Let us hope that more managers will change what they do now that they are aware

Climate action is important

It is what the youth want

They shouldn’t need to worry

Or wait until everyone is sorry

When more green jobs can be created

We shouldn’t wait until more persons are sad

We should be saying we are glad

That the children want to have a future

So let us show them how to take care of Mother Nature

A bright future is what the children deserve

And now they are being let down by even those who promise to serve
