We protect our own health when we protect the trees
They are not just homes for the birds and the bees
They help us to have good quality air to breathe and fruits to eat
But they are destroyed by those who offer only deceit
Trees could be replanted and more persons could be paid
In the future will people see a barren earth as a mistake that was made
Will feeling sorry help anyone
When all the trees are gone
Replanting trees is something governments should make laws about
How will future generation live and find ways to have clean air and know what life is all about
The persons who only think of creating more wealth
Will one day realize that all the money in the world cannot buy health
Why ruin the planet so you can leave destruction behind
Mother Earth deserves better treatment, she has always been kind
